Identification:
Small, forewing apical border thick with smoothly curving inner edge, postdiscal bar broad with end forked, thoracic markings yellow.

Wingspan: 41-42mm

Forewing length: 21mm

Local distribution: Atlantic lowlands up to 1200 m (Poco Sol, Refugio Eladio, San Gerardo).

Similar species: Pseudoscada utilla, Oleria paula, Hypoleria cassotis

Species range: Costa Rica and Panama

Abundance: Rare

Larval host plants: Solanum arboreum

Early stages: Solitary

Comments: One of our smallest ithomiine species.
