Identification:
Translucent yellow bars, black antennae, large white spots at forewing apex.

Local distribution: Occurring at 500-900 m on Atlantic slope; common at Refugio Eladio, uncommon at Poco Sol.

Similar species: Aeria eurimedea, Scada zibia, Godyris zavaleta, Napeogenes cranto

Species range: Costa Rica to South America

Abundance: Uncommon

Larval host plants: Unknown

Early stages: Unknown

Comments: Low flying in light areas in forest understory.
