Identification:
Black forewing apex broad with inner edge almost straight, white medial bar strong and bordering black apex.

Wingspan: 56-58mm

Forewing length: 27-31mm

Local distribution: Common on Pacific side from lowlands to 1500 m, rare on Atlantic slope down to 200 m.

Similar species: Oleria paula, Ithomia patilla, Pteronymia cotytto,

Species range: Mexico to Panama

Abundance: Common

Larval host plants:
Cestrum lanatum
Cestrum racemosum
Cestrum sp. “San Luis”

Early stages: Solitary
